GER (gastro esophageal reflux) commonly known as Acid Reflux happens when the acid from the stomach backs up into the esophagus and up toward the throat burning it. This condition is usually associated with older or overweight individuals with bad diets. However, it has been estimated that as much as 80% of pregnant women suffer from heartburn symptoms that can be credited to GER. These symptoms can range from very mild to very severe, it generally only last the length of the pregnancy.

Acid reflux is most common during the third trimester as the baby begins to grow larger and presses upward on the abdomen. The morning sickness experienced during the first trimester is usually due to the placenta producing the female hormone progesterone. Progesterone relaxes the smooth muscles in the uterus allowing it to stretch, but unfortunately it also relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) allowing stomach acid to reflux or back flow into the esophagus. When this happens you experience discomfort or a burning sensation in the chest just below your breast bone.

During the third trimester the uterus enlarges as the baby grows and crowds the abdominal cavity pushing the stomach up against the esophagus. This pressure against the lower esophageal sphincter (LES) can cause acid reflux or heartburn. If the baby is particularly large a portion of the stomach can be push up through the diaphragm’s esophageal hiatus opening resulting in a hiatal hernia, which also contribute to acid reflux.

What’s a mother to do?

During pregnancy treating acid reflux can become a balancing act between remedies, diet, exercise and making sure the baby gets what it needs. Generally, during pregnancy you want to avoid medications as much as possible because of the there potential negative effect on the unborn child. But at the same time you would like some relief from that awful burning feeling.

These steps will help reduce your acid reflux or heartburn symptoms:

Eat small meals throughout the day rather than three large meals

Avoid drinking large quantities of fluids during meals; you don’t want to become dehydrated so sip water throughout the day making sure to get 8 to 10 cups of water.

Chewing gum can stimulate your saliva, which can help neutralize acid.

Try a small amount of ginger to help relieve gas, nausea and regurgitation.

Sleep with your head and shoulders elevated.

Don’t wear clothes that are tight especially around the stomach area.

Don’t Smoke, smoking stimulates the production of stomach acid.

Avoid Alcoholic drinks.

Use a calcium based antacid, but always check with your doctor first. Always avoid antacids that contain Aluminum or Magnesium.

If after trying the above helps, you don’t find relief from your acid reflux cause from pregnancy contact your doctor he may provide you with a pregnancy safe prescription.

It’s not unusual for infants to spit up shortly after eating. However if it causes other problems or it is associated with other symptoms, it could be Gastro Esophageal Reflux or simple acid reflux. Most of us associate acid reflux with older individuals who have problems with indigestion or heartburn. But, in realty this problem can also be found in infants usually during their first three months of life, it one of the contributing factors to colic.

So what is acid reflux? Acid Reflux happens when the acid from the stomach backs up into the esophagus burning it. Acid reflux causes the child discomfort and pain. So, what cause the reflux to get into the esophagus? Infants usually have a weak digestive system, particularly the lower esophageal sphincter (LES), but most babies will out grow acid reflux by 6 to 12 months.

Acid Reflux Symptoms in Infants

Here are the most common symptoms to watch for:

Frequent or recurrent spitting up or vomiting

Chocking or gagging during feeding, possible refusing to eat.

Crying during feeding

Frequent or persistent cough

Abdominal pain or gas

Inadequate weight gain

Poor sleep habits with frequent waking

Infant Acid Reflux Remedy through life style changes.

Breastfeed your baby. Human milk is easier to digest than formula and is less of an irritant to the esophagus, often resulting in few and less severe reflux bouts.

Thicken Formula. For bottle feed baby’s try using a special thicker formula to prevent spitting up or regurgitation.

Burp more often. Burping can reduce the amount of milk or formula that is regurgitated due to air
bubbles. For bottle feed baby’s try using a special bottle that minimize the amount of air your baby swallows.

Changing feeding schedules. Try smaller and more frequent feeds as well as different feeding times.

Feeding position. Feed your baby in a more upright position to minimize regurgitation.

Elevating the head of the baby’s crib or bassinet. This will place the baby in a more upright position reducing the chance of regurgitation.

Change the mother’s diet. If you are breast feeding your doctor my suggest changes to your diet.

If these life style changes do not help or conditions worsen see you pediatrician right away for diagnostic evaluation and treatments. Your doctor my prescribe medications, such as a children’s antacids like Mylanta and Maalox. Surgery is rarely needed to treat acid reflux in infants, but if the cause is a hiatal hernia surgery may be necessary.

During this difficult time in your baby’s life it very important that you keep calm and provide the comfort that your child needs. Often time to be successful you will need a support group of family and friends to help you out so you do not loss your patience.

What cause acid reflux disease, its symptoms and treatments

Acid reflux is the common term for gastro esophageal reflux disease or GERD, the condition of abnormal reflux that causes mucosal damages. This disease can affect both adults and children or infants, but gives high vulnerability to pregnant women, smokers and people who doze off right after eating without prior rest.

The symptoms of acid reflux are as follows: heartburn, which is characterized by chest pain; inflammation in the mucosa; difficulty in swallowing; cough and hoarseness. These symptoms are felt by the infected person after eating a fatty meal or drinking liquor, when bending, and worse when constantly smoking.

Acid reflux is primarily caused by the malfunction of the esophageal sphincter. In other cases, it can also be brought about by the abnormal production of the gastric acids. If there is insufficient supply of the stomach acid, the valve in the stomach responsible for churning up foods to the intestine does not open up. This irritates the esophagus and leads to inflammation.

Some of the factors that can trigger acid reflux are hiatus hernia, zollinger-elison syndrome, hypercalcemia, scleroderma and systemic sclerosis.

According to paradoxical beliefs, drinking alcohol, tea and coffee can lead to gastro esophageal reflux. But recent studies show that although individuals already infected by this disease can be aggravated by alcohol, tea and coffee, these elements do not cause the disease. Compared to smoking which amplifies the risks of getting the disease, alcohol, tea and coffee had the least impact. But this doesn’t mean that GERD infected people are free to take the beverages stated above. Doctors still suggest avoiding drinking of alcohol in order to shun further aggravation.

Smoking is the chief culprit that causes acid reflux disease. Regular smokers for twenty years are 70% susceptible to acid reflux disease compared to non-smokers. And symptoms of those who already developed the GERD are worsened day by day due to smoking.

The highlight of the research is that great amounts of salts are found to be equivalent to regular smoking in terms of the risk of developing GERD. It is not a common knowledge that table salts can cause acid reflux disease but researchers found out in their studies that people who are constantly using extra salt are 70% at risk to have gastro esophageal reflux disease. Gastroenterologists of New York University Medical Center attested this fact.

Gastro esophageal reflux disease can be diagnosed even by the infected person himself through the appearance of the symptoms. In the occurrence of these symptoms, it is advised to undergo the tests conducted by medical experts to clear doubts of having the disease or to carry out possible treatments. To treat this kind of disorder, there are varieties of ways possible. It can be cured by prescribed drugs such as antacids, by natural way such as change of diet system, elevation of the head when lying down, or to the utmost is surgery. And of course, it will be best to stop or avoid smoking and drinking alcohol especially to people who are vulnerable to acid reflux disease.

Gastro esophageal reflux disease causes a lot of discomfort that it can ruin even your lifestyle. To avoid its bad effects, precautionary measures should be considered. The cliché quote that prevention is better than cure applies always.

Some people are very lucky. Their heartburn is only periodic. Although the pain is severe and disturbs their plans, it does go away. It does not linger around and cause any secondary complications.

Chronic heartburn and reflux is a different story. It is not a benign situation. The lingering stomach acid, tissue damage, and general ph imbalance can cause a whole host of secondary problems.

Many of these problems can threaten your overall health. Almost all complications are expensive to treat.

There is an easy way to circumvent these problems. You must find a lasting natural remedy for acid reflux. You may think that is easier said than done.

However, if you truly understand the risk you are taking by not addressing your problem, you will be ready to commit to an anti-heartburn program.

Tooth Trouble

Acid reflux means that acid, partially digested food, bile, and other stomach contents reverse their natural direction and moves upward toward the esophagus.

The more severe the acid reflux, the further upward the fluid will move. In very serious cases, the stomach acids can move up through the esophagus and into your mouth.

Once the stomach acid enters your mouth, you dental health is put at risk. The more often the problem occurs, the greater the risk. Gingivitis and bad breath are the initial problems.

However, as the condition continues your teeth can further deteriorate. The tooth enamel can erode away, leaving only dentin.

As the problem progresses, so will the costs. This will become very painful and will likely need extensive dental treatment to save your teeth.

If you want to save yourself time, money, and the embarrassment of unhealthy teeth then it is time you found a acid reflux natural remedy you can trust.

More Serious Health Issues

Acid reflux is often misnamed. Occasional heartburn is sometimes the result of the stomach producing too much acid. Chronic heartburn is when the contents of the stomach continually flow up into the esophagus.

The stomach has a protective lining which can defend against gastric acids, but the esophagus is literally defenseless to the onslaught.

As you know, acid reflux causes burning and irritation in your chest. This is the symptom of your esophageal tissue swelling and tearing from the chronic acid exposure.

Since you cannot see your esophagus, you may tend to dismiss the problem because you cannot see how raw the tissue is becoming. If a natural acid reflux remedy is not found, this delicate esophageal tissue can completely erode leading to very serious health concerns.

Internal Bleeding

Erosive Esophagitis is when the acid flowing back into the esophagus has called extensive damage and inflammation. The injuries become intense enough to tear the lining of the esophagus.

In about 10% of all acid reflux cases, there is enough damage to cause substantial bleeding unless a natural remedy for acid reflux is found.

The tendency for excessive esophageal bleeding was first noticed by scientists studying anorexics. It was soon discovered that acid reflux patients were likely to develop many of the same symptoms and side effects.

Naturally, if you are bleeding for a long period of time and this goes unnoticed or untreated, you can subsequently develop other complications such as iron deficiency anemia.

Anemia causes tiredness, poor metabolism, and many other health concerns. The more your esophagus bleeds, the more anemic you will become.

Barrett’s Esophagus

Externally, if your skin was continually exposed to harmful acid, it would adapt. The wound would eventually begin to scar. Overtime, the skin would thicken and become less flexible. Your body creates abnormal skin cells to deal with the constant damage.

What happens internally is no different. Overtime, chronic acid reflex forces your body to adapt the esophageal tissue to withstand the acid and irritation. The normal tissue cells are changed into abnormal cells. This is a condition called Barrett’s Esophagus.

Barrett’s Esophagus is essentially permanent scarring of the esophageal tissue. Of course, the more scarring that occurs the harder it will be for the esophagus to function correctly.

Scar tissue will weaken and misshape the esophageal sphincter, leaving a greater opening so that more acid can enter the esophagus. It is a recurring cycle that can only be prevented by acid reflux natural remedies.

While Barrett’s Esophagus may seem relatively benign, you should know it can be more serious. Abnormal cells are also often referred to as “pre-cancerous” cells.

This means these cells are more likely to change to malignant cells. While you should know that these cells will not change to cancer if there was not already a tendency toward malignancy, it is also difficult to determine whether or not you have a malignant tendency.

Essentially, Barrett’s Esophagus patients are 30% more likely to develop esophageal cancer than their non-heartburn suffering peers.

Put a Stop to Your Deteriorating Health

If these health concerns have not been enough to make you commit to using natural acid reflux remedies, you should know these are only the start.

There are countless other complications from chronic heartburn that can leave your health threatened. If you want to save yourself all of the related frustration, it is time you start working to cure your problem.

Problems in the digestive system should not be neglected. There are different possible digestive system disorders or diseases that are most often neglected by many people. The most common digestive problem is the acid reflux or gastro-esophageal reflux disease, most commonly known as heartburn. Acid reflux affects different ages from infants to young children and adults as well. This disorder should be given special attention because it can lead to a more serious problem that could affect the respiratory system.

Acid reflux is determined through the symptoms associated with it. Symptoms such as a burning sensation in the chest or throat, wheezing, hoarseness or other symptoms associated to it should never be neglected because these symptoms of acid reflux also are similar to heart attack.

An individual with these symptoms should immediately consult a doctor to determine if they have acid reflux disease or symptoms of a heart attack. Once the doctor has diagnosed the individual with acid reflux, they should take proper medications to aid in this condition to prevent further problems.

Fortunately, advancements in medical treatment have been introduced lately, making it possible for individuals with acid reflux to undergo medical surgery, as such, providing a permanent remedy for acid reflux in a fast surgical procedure. On the other hand, acid reflux surgery can be quite expensive; therefore, natural remedies to rid of the problem are an option for those individuals unable to have surgery.

As most people know, acid reflux or heartburn can occur at anytime but are likely to occur after having a heavy meal with high acidic foods. As such, individuals should avoid foods that are highly acidic to prevent this condition to occur. Even fried and fatty foods should be avoided. These sorts of foods can lead to more severe symptoms that could affect the respiratory system. Even chocolates are considered a no-no for individuals with acid reflux because chocolates are highly acidic too.

If you have been diagnosed with acid reflux, try changing your diet by choosing the right foods and eating healthy. Exclude foods with tomatoes and citrus fruits because tomatoes and citrus fruits are very acidic as well. Also, food with spices such as garlic, onions, red or black pepper and chili powder can cause the condition to flare. Ginger, however, is a natural remedy used to relieve heartburn.

Here are some foods that should be avoided by individuals with acid reflux. Fatty foods like hamburgers and hotdogs is one of the risks in triggering this painful condition. Certain vegetables like cauliflower, Brussel sprouts, cabbage, and broccoli causes acid reflux also. Most of all, avoid caffeine found in teas, coffee and sodas. Caffeine causes acid gastric secretion that can lead to the problem.

There are other ways to aid the elimination of acid reflux that does not involve eating, this is done by limiting your food intake. Usually, heavy meals in one time can cause acid reflux than eating small portions of foods in every meal. Eating heavy meals can result in stomach problems due to foods unable to breakdown properly for stomach consumption, therefore causing acid reflux.

Acid reflux is a condition that needs attention. It can lead to worse conditions if unattended. Individuals should take preventive measures to avoid possible occurrences of acid reflux, whereas, avoiding also the foods that causes acid reflux in an individual to happen. Learn to diagnose the problem caused by acid reflux and take preventive measures in avoiding possible occurrences of this disorder by avoiding possible foods that can cause acid reflux.

Acid reflux disease is a product of the failure of the esophageal sphincter to function properly. Because of abnormal acid production, digestive processes are affected and causes burning sensations in the stomach, chest and even up to the esophagus. Too low acid production causes the valve in the stomach not to open. So the tendency of the stomach acids is to rise up and inflame the esophagus. On the other hand, too much acid production follows the same case.

There are many factors that can be deemed responsible for acid reflux disease. One of which is the use of too much salt. Aside from alcohol, caffeine and smoking which all add to the risk of acid reflux, salt is unexpectedly concluded to cause and aggravate the disease. This finding is in accordance to the studies of researchers from Sweden. They found out from the lifestyle of their samplings that extra table salt increases the risk of having acid reflux disease up to 70%. This is alarming because it is implied that extra table salt can harm more that alcohol and caffeine. A related study conducted by Dr. Roshini Rajapaksa of New York University Medical Center attested the same results on the risks of too much table salt.

Countless individuals who suffer from acid reflux disease also suffer the discomfort and pains of its symptoms. The principal sign of acid reflux disease is persistent heartburn. Seldom heartburn experienced by most people may not lead to an acid reflux problem but a regular occurrence of up to thrice a week calls for proper attention already. In some cases, there are individuals who do not suffer from heartburn although they have acid reflux disease.

Heartburn is usually experienced after eating a heavy meal or when bending or lying down. The symptom is characterized by the burning sensation that originates from the upper abdomen and to the back of the breastbone. Then a burning sensation is felt in the chest. As time passes by, the pain travels up to the throat until you experience a sour taste in your mouth. The pain radiates all throughout the back that you become uneasy and unable to do things.

Some of the other signs of acid reflux disease are regular hoarseness especially in the morning, finding a hard time swallowing, choking sensation where the food seems to be stuck in the throat, constant dry cough with unknown cause and bad breath. These are just some of the symptoms that the person inflicted by acid reflux disease can notice on himself.

These symptoms, nevertheless, can be treated depending upon the frequency and the level of pain. Particularly, heartburn may need greater attention because it could be more than the pains it caused you. Further tests should be undergone to point out the real root and the length of damages that the heartburn had gone. Only the doctor can prescribe you the medications that will reduce an acute heartburn.

Healthy habits such as proper diet and exercise should also be developed in your everyday system so as to avoid the symptoms and totally cure the acid reflux disease. And bad habits such as smoking and drinking alcohol and caffeine beverages should also be avoided or minimized. This is the natural way of treating any disease.

Many people get hungry because they lack food. Children become malnourished if they are not given the right amount of food which contains the needed vitamins and minerals which in turn make the body strong and healthy.

The fact is, not all foods are healthy. The most popular unhealthy food is ‘junk foods’. Just as the word suggests, junk, which means it is like garbage. But many people are still patronizing these kinds of food.

People diagnosed with certain diseases often are given a list of foods to avoid. And this is true with the case of a person having acid reflux. Acid reflux or the GERD is a condition wherein stomach acids go back to the esophagus because of the improper functioning of the lower esophageal sphincter. If this condition is not treated, it will only get worse which can cause serious complications.

You can effectively tell if you have acid reflux if you experience symptoms like sour taste, burning sensation in the chest or upper abdomen and your throat’s back, excessive belching, breathing difficulties, tightness of throat, difficulty in swallowing food, and bad breath.

If you frequently experience these symptoms, then you probably have acid reflux. Visit your doctor to get an accurate diagnosis, so that you will know the severity of your condition.

There are certain beverages and foods which cause acid reflux, and this includes the following:

-	chocolate
-	coffee
-	spearmint and peppermint
-	alcoholic drinks
-	fruit juices
-	fatty foods and fried foods
-	onions
-	citrus fruits
-	spicy foods
-	products which are tomato-based
-	caffeinated drinks

A change in your diet is the most effective way to deal with acid reflux. Although at first you may feel deprived of these foods, think of what will happen if you continue to eat or drink these beverages and foods.

Start your change in diet by keeping a record of your food intake. In this manner, you can tell which of the foods or beverages causes your acid reflux. So every time you experience that burning sensation, take note of what you’ve actually eaten. Once you have the list accomplished, put it somewhere where you can easily see it, like the refrigerator.

A lifestyle change may seem rather difficult. Your doctor can greatly help you in your transition. The very first thing that you should do is to set a goal, like for instance eating small meals, while avoiding those above-mentioned foods. Slowly quit smoking and drinking. Of course, you can’t expect an abrupt change.

Every time you feel any of the symptoms, you will be instantly reminded that you’re on the wrong path. Self-discipline is very much important to attain a successful lifestyle change.

While many people are taking antacids, others are finding it better to stick with the natural way. On the long run, antacids are not that good for your body, even to your stomach. It would be better to start changing your lifestyle, the sooner the better.

Besides, a healthy lifestyle doesn’t only prevent acid reflux but other diseases as well. You will gain more benefit in changing your life entirely, especially regarding food eating habits. Eat the right kinds of food at the right amount, and you’ll stay healthy. Prevent acid reflux, change.

Acid reflux and hiatal hernia are often encountered together. The latter, as a very common disorder especially among the elderly, can lead to the onset of numerous other medical conditions, including GERD – gastro-esophageal reflux disease, or acid reflux.

In the case of a healthy individual, the stomach is located under the diaphragm, a muscle which separates the abdominal cavity from the chest. The esophagus passes through the chest and, before reaching the stomach, it goes through an opening in the diaphragm called the esophageal hiatus. In the case of patients suffering from hiatal hernia, the esophageal hiatus is enlarged – situation which can occur as the result of multiple factors, including physical activity or natural aging – and through this enlarged opening, the stomach can protrude into the patient’s chest. This condition is called hiatal hernia and as stated, it may lead to a number of complications including GERD. In such cases, acid reflux and hiatal hernia are linked.

When considering a proper treatment for acid reflux and hiatal hernia, the doctor will need to take into account to causes of the hernia. These may vary greatly from one individual to another, but there are only a few categories of possible causes: mechanical (such as weight lifting, powerful blows, clothing and posture, or hard coughing), medical (obesity, constipation, congenital defects, hereditary disorders) or life style causes (for example smoking and heavy drinking).

There are several types of hiatal hernia. The sliding hiatal hernia is the most often encountered of them, and this condition is characterized by the mobility of the hernia – as in, the upper part of the stomach slides up and down through the enlarged hiatus. Usually small, these hernias may cause no symptoms or complications. Fixed hiatal hernias are situations where the protruding part of the stomach is stuck in the chest; there may be very few symptoms in these cases as well, but the potential for complications is much higher.

In most situations, acid reflux and hiatal hernia are encountered together when the hernia belongs to the third and last category, the serious (or complicated) hiatal hernia. Various other affections may be present in these situations, as well, and the patient requires immediate treatment. The typical treatment options at this stage are surgical procedures.

It is not uncommon for small hiatal hernias to cause absolutely no problems to the patients, and in these cases the patient can learn to live with them, without any treatment being necessary. Larger hernias however tend to cause a number of signs and symptoms, including chest pain, belching and heartburn.

Some very serious health problems may occur as consequences of an untreated acid reflux disease, and that’s why it is very important to detect, diagnose and treat the affection in its early stages.

The acid reflux disease leads to the onset of esophagitis, characterized by inflammation, irritation and pain in the esophagus caused by the gastric acid attacking the esophageal tissues. In the case of healthy individuals, a group of muscles called the lower esophageal sphincter has the role of protecting the esophagus from the gastric contents by only opening up to let food pass from the esophagus into the stomach, and then closing back tight again; however, in the case of a patient suffering from acid reflux, these muscles are no longer able to close as tightly, and the acid leaks out into the esophagus.

In the case of severe acid reflux, the esophageal lining may become scarred, effectively narrowing the esophageal passage. This medical condition (called esophageal stricture) can become severe enough to block the passage completely, thus preventing any food or water from passing through. This may further lead to the onset of a number of nutrition related affections, and as such it should be treated immediately through certain procedures which aim to enlarge and stretch the esophagus.

When acid reflux causes esophagitis, the patient is exposed to the risk of developing esophageal bleeding or ulcers. Also, Barrett’s esophagus is more common in the case of acid reflux sufferers – this is an affection caracterized by a discoloration of the tissues in the lower esophagus as they become more and more resistant to acid, but the modified tissues also have a higher risk of malignancy. Along with Barrett’s esophagus, severe acid reflux, smoking and alcoholism are considered to be the leading causes of esophageal cancer.

The acid reflux disease can be managed through a number of lifestyle changes. Most of these are related to the individual’s eating habits: for example, eating several small meals every day instead of three big ones will prevent the stomach from becoming overloaded, and thus will reduce the chances for any gastric acid to enter the esophagus. Other measures involve both the eating and sleeping schedule: eating shortly before going to sleep may cause night-time reflux and pain; it is strongly recommended that you do not go to sleep for at least 45 minutes after having had a meal. A few measures refer only to the patient’s sleeping habits: for example, a patient affected by the acid reflux disease should be sleeping in a bed with the head elevated 6 to 8 inches, in order to help keep the gastric contents down.

Your personal physician can offer you more advice regarding prevention and treatment methods for your acid reflux disease. It is best that you closely follow his indications in order to treat your affection and prevent any of the possible complications.

Although many people suffer from this illness, few are actually aware of the causes of acid reflux. This affection, also referred to as GERD, short for gastroesophageal reflux disease, plagues many individuals around the world, causing discomfort and even pain. It occurs due to the gastric contents entering the esophagus and attacking the esophageal tissue.

Studies have shown that, in most cases, patients diagnosed with GERD follow the treatment for their condition without as much as a thought regarding the causes of acid reflux – in other words, they don’t know what they did wrong in the first place, in order to avoid repeating the same mistakes in the future. Health care providers should not only inform their patients of the affections they are suffering from and the appropriate treatments, but also of the causes.

One of the common causes of acid reflux is the increased acidity of the gastric fluids. While everyone experiences gastric reflux, in the case of GERD patients the refluxed substances have a considerably higher acidity. The acid attacks the lining of the esophagus, causing the characteristic burning sensation known as heartburn.

Acid reflux may also occur as a result of a malfunctioning lower esophageal sphincter. This is among the top causes of acid reflux during pregnancy, when the growing baby is also putting pressure on the abdominal internal organs.

Esophageal contractions may also be one of the causes of acid reflux. In some cases, the contractions are so powerful that they force the contents of the stomach back into the esophagus.

Hiatal hernias are another factor which may favor the onset of GERD. A hernia is a situation where the stomach penetrates through the diaphragm and into the chest. This also causes a weakening of the lower esophageal sphincter, further increasing the patient’s risk of acid reflux.

There are other causes of acid reflux, however they are less common. Medication or a lower than normal speed of the digestive process can also occasionally lead to GERD. However, although there are numerous factors which may cause or favor the onset of this affection, there are also various means of treating the disease. It is recommended that you consult your personal physician in order to obtain an accurate diagnosis, to learn what caused your illness and how to treat it effectively.
